I have been a baaaaad webmistress. Well, I guess I deserved a short hiatus, but I am back on the ball. I had some server issue come up, mainly with a lot of hung semaphores in the apache. I am pretty sure there has been server wide outage. It pissed me off, but I have been on my technicians like crazy trying to get this all finished.
In the meantime, I cleared up Blogtopsite as some jerkoffs were spamming and joining it. I reset the topsite to make sure that I approve members first instead. I feel dumb to have neglected that site, amongst others during my hiatus. I still have to go over to Rouged and update there.
On June 1st, I attended the Relay for Life in Mount Vernon, Illinois as a part of the Walgreens team. The Relay for Life is an event hosted by the American Cancer Society. I had fun and walked quite a bit. Our team won Silver for the event. I got a pin for it.
I have been going tanning a lot lately, about three to five times a week. I am getting fairly dark now.
I got the contract to design the site for the Veterans Caucus for the American Academy of Physician Assistants. My father is on the executive board and he really put a big word in for me. I am grateful for that too. This project will be one that I will also become the webmaster. The non-profit organization gives a yearly scholarship as well, so not just students will see who designed it, but a wide spectrum of people. It will be nice to expand my portfolio.
Angel started Tee- ball on June 5th. Unfortunately, the league is in the afternoons throughout the weekend… when I am at work. I really wanted to see him play. Apparently he did tag a kid out and Luis said he would send me pictures.
