Well, I have finally at least got the Visitor section straightened out with the novel, Shinju no Miko. I put up the first 6 chapters with the edits and additions as well as the seventh chapter! :cheering: My to do list from the previous blog has not changed as the novel is a bit more delicate to when dealing with. Currently over 20,000 words are posted. I have more, but I have been reading and re-reading, then editing and adding, so it has been growing by the day. I even started drawing illustrations for it and have been assembling a couple supplement pages like a Japanese translation page and a reference guide.
I did get a question about my old stories, Lady August, Return of the Druids, Age of the Sunan, and The Phoenix Empress. Those will reappear in due time, but not so soon. They are in serious need of proofing and especially adding. They were projects that started out in high school and never really had the oomph as I was but a unexperienced writer. These stories used to be on my old geocities site. They exist in the filemanager still, but I no longer allow the site to be viewable, only by the main page. Sometimes I forget about the old sites, but hey, I did start somewhere. 😉
As for my health, it is much better this week. I am still congested. I was worried that I would have passed all the illness to my son, but I managed to keep myself medicated and at a little distance without hampering our fun time.
We went bowling in the local bowling alley. We played 2 games. It was fun watching him play. I am fairly good at bowling and some gals asked me how I do it. I bowl with a 13 in my left hand and a 14 in the right, which is fairly heavy. I have tried lighter balls, but I always end up lifting them. Too light! I have always been a brute. 😳 Angel though bowls with a 6, but has to use both hands. He lops it over to his left shoulder before hurling it down the lane. After releasing the ball, he would immediately whirl around and grin goofily at me. Of course, we did have the bumpers up for him, so it was cute to watch his roll SLOWLY down. He was proud of himself and it was great to see him having a good time.
He has been such a silly boy lately. He knows his 5th birthday is going to be soon, so he says to everyone, “I am almost 5 years old.”
He is such a ham!
